Hello!
I’m Jacqui, ex-primary school teacher turned Virtual Assistant.
I understand first-hand what it feels like to be pulled in a thousand directions at once. Juggling multiple tasks, never quite finishing anything, knowing there are things in your business that need attention but never having the headspace to tackle them. There comes a point when you just have to accept that you need some help — and that's exactly where I come in.
I can help you see the wood for the trees so you can put your energy into the things you’re passionate about.
With over 20 years in primary education — teaching, leading, and if I'm honest, absolutely thriving on the systems, organisation and admin that most of my colleagues were desperate to avoid — I've developed a skill set that translates beautifully into the world of small business support.
I'm meticulous. I have a genuine eye for detail and a real passion for making things look polished and professional — whether that's a Squarespace website built around your brand, social media content that sounds authentically like you, a newsletter your subscribers actually want to read, or a set of training materials you're proud to put your name to.
With an English Literature degree and over two decades of writing for diverse audiences, adapting tone, language and style became second nature long before I was a VA. But more than that, I always thought about how things would land on the other side. What would resonate with a six year old, a parent, a member of staff? That instinct for how words and ideas are received, not just delivered, is something I bring to everything I create for my clients.
I don't need hand-holding. I ask the right questions upfront, I learn your business quickly, and I get on with it. You'll always know where things stand because clear, honest communication is at the heart of how I work.
My friends and family will tell you I'm the organiser. I am the event planner in our family and I love a list! I also have a passion for travel, though in many ways I love the research and planning even more. Finding the perfect accommodation, creating itineraries, and discovering those hidden gems that make a trip memorable fill me with joy.
I'm also a working mum to two teenage sons, a flautist with my local wind orchestra, a devoted Killers fan, and someone who unwinds with a good book, a sudoku and probably far too many crisps!
